where can i buy an abstract lucite sculpture?

condition is not as much of a priority as affordability. thanks!

Affordable for one person could be a year's salary for another and with art it's all relative anyway (to your own taste, your own budget for art in general, the fame of the artist, the speculation on future value, etc.).

Abstract lucite sculpture was done primarily in the 70's and is now considered either "vintage" or collectible - both of which make the price go up from original values. There are a few artists still working in this medium, but the vast majority are creating figures and tableaus, not abstracts. A few who are still working in the medium are re-creating the look of the 70s and their work is less expensive, but the artists are very hard to find.

Vintage stores that specialize in stuff from the 60s and 70s tend to have lucite sculptures. Even if a particular store doesn't, you can ask the proprietors where to find these or if they'll keep an eye out for some for you. You can find these stores in person or on the web.

You may want to consider looking a acrylic sculptures if it's the "look" that you want and not the particular materials and the vintage style.
