Which musical instrument is the easiest to learn?
I'm 41yrs old and I don't really have a musical ear. I can't read music. But I'd love to learn to play something. I'll have to teach myself as I can't afford lessons so I was wondering what instrument I should start with. Thanks
I would say the drums as drum music is very easy to read. You don't even need a drum kit or anything to start with just buy some drumsticks and a rubber practice pad/mat and you can start practicing. I was taught as a kid and my teacher started us this way then we moved on to using just a snare drum. One step at a time until you get better, just add more equipment as you go. A full drum kit can seem a little daunting at first. Have fun...
