Why do catholic pray infront of sculptured image although God and Jesus said we shld nt, & yet dey r christian?

God told us not to adore or pray unto any handmade image the thing that catholics do and yet they still call themselves christians. Isn't it they are more likely to be called anti christ because they dont follow christ?

We use statues to remind us of Christ. We do not pray to them, they are simply a visual tool to focus our mind and hearts on Christ our Lord. We also have statues of the Blessed Mother and the Saints to remind us what goal we are trying to reach. Those statues are there to help us keep our eyes on Heaven. We do not worship statues and images. They are instrumental for our meditation and focus on the Holy Trinity.
